Ice Cream Pie
Servings: 6-8
Ingredients:
- 1 graham cracker pie crust (store-bought or homemade)
- 1.5 quarts (about 6 cups) of your favorite flavor of ice cream, softened
- Whipped cream
- Chocolate sauce
- Toppings of your choice (such as strawberries, sliced bananas, or crushed cookies)
Directions:
- Scoop the softened ice cream into the pie crust, spreading it evenly with a spatula to create a smooth layer.
- Once the ice cream is evenly spread, place the pie in the freezer and let it freeze until firm, about 4-6 hours or overnight.
- When ready to serve, remove the pie from the freezer and let it sit at room temperature for a few minutes to soften slightly for easier slicing.
- Slice the pie into wedges and place them on serving plates.
- Top each slice with a dollop of whipped cream. Drizzle chocolate sauce over the whipped cream. Add toppings for extra flavor and decoration.
- Serve immediately.
